1. “One world ,One Dreame” was chosen as the slogan of the 2008 BeiJing Olympic Games.
2. Five dolls, which embody the natural characteristics of four China’s most popular anima-ls ——the Fish, the Pand-a, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow ——and the Olympic Flame we-re unveiled as the mascots for the 2008 ol-ympics.
3. An ambitious volunteer program for the BeiJing Games was launched in 2005. Some 70,000 volunteers are ex-pected to serve for the 2008 Olympics.
4. A teame of eight Chinese TV stations were contracted to provide international TV and radio feeds for table ten-nis , badminton ,modern pentathlon, football ,basketball,volleyball and tennis during the 2008 olympics.
5. The International Olympic Committee announced in July, 2005 that the equestrian eve-nts of the 2008 Games will be switched from BeiJing to HongKong.
